Imagine everything is going right in every aspect of your life, except your love life. You've tried app after app, social media, and the old fashioned way. Don't nothing pop off, so you just forget about it. That's when all of sudden you start getting flowers at work from a "secret admirer" who calls himself Honey Bear, or Bear for short.

You log in to pay your cellphone bill. PAID. You log in to pay your car note. PAID for TWO MONTHS! Now at first, you're scared because how in the HELL do this person know all of this about you. One of your exes is a cop so you get him to do some digging, but everything leads to a dead in. You decide to just go on about your life. Hell, "Bear" ain't hurting you, he's helping you.

Then one day, you get an envelope. In it is a ticket to Jamaica, $2,000 in cash, an itinerary, and a note. Bear tells you it's about time that ya'll meet. Use the cash to purchase what you need for the trip, catch the flight, and check-in at the resort. Everything is under your name. You're even more convinced now that this is somebody you know because they know that Jamaica has been on your bucket list for some time now.

When you land in Jamaica, you check your phone and your mom and best friend, Jayda, have been blowing you up. You open one of the text messages and find out that your sneaky link of eight years, Nipsey, whom you had just cut off, was involved in an accident and is dead. You feel your soul leave from your body. You love that man. He just never would commit, to you that is, so you knew that you had to move on.

You purchase an immediate flight back home and call the front desk of the resort to leave a message for Bear. You weren't even interested anymore at that point. You were nauseous. Someone who's had you in a chokehold for EIGHT years is gone.

You get back home and deal with Nipsey's death. Bear goes ghost. You don't hear anything from him for months. You're a little sad because he could've been a much needed distraction, but at the same time you could've been kidnapped or human trafficked. So, maybe everything that happened was God's way of protecting you from something bad happening.

One day you, you're chillin on the sofa, watching Netflix, eating popcorn, and sipping wine. You get a text message. It reads, "Trust No One." You immediately put the number into your caller ID app and it comes back to a VOIP number. You block the number because you don't have time for games. Two minutes later, a blocked number starts calling you. You answer, and you're like "Stop playing on my phone," but before you can hang up, the person on the other end whispers your name. You ask who is this, and they say, "Me. Trust No One." The call hangs up. You sit there for a minute because you're like no, it can't be. He's dead. I went to his funeral. You unblock the the VOIP and try calling it and texting it, but nothing goes through.

From that moment on you learn to believe half of what you see and none of what you hear because NOTHING in your life has been what it seemed.
